Giving it a test run, yeah I can nod to all the points you mentioned that are still WIP. I think this would be the one I end up using for sure though. I think it fulfills the role of a dark mode too in a way, light BG, and white text, etc.

Excellent, that's the sort of approval I was hoping to see! It does surprisingly strike a lot of balances. For a very small development team of basically myself, putting together the whole site on one theme would definitely make things easier. I'll see how others like it but I do think this would be a good one to run with.

Current major bug is new replies posted from the quick reply composer don't immediately show up on some platforms, posting the reply still doesn't clear the composer itself, and quick edit appears to be utterly hosed. My guess is there's an item ID in there that I missed when copying the new HTML over, which should be easy enough to dig through and fix when I got a few minutes.

The width doesn't match the quick reply box either. I like the longer quick reply box size (via browser), but I'm guessing you'll apply the post styling to this set of boxes and buttons too?

It is indeed an exciting new experience to put this whole project together!
I'll take note of the sizing issues, shouldn't be too hard to make it fit. (I think Nightmare probably said that same thing lol)

In other news, I think I just unexpectedly initiated a fan translation of the first three games. So there's that!

Ummm WHAT? I'll need the context of that last point sometime hehe.

yeah we need to know the details of how that happened! just saw that message on the front page, sounds like an interesting story!

Kurehashi Aiko brought the idea up, and I told him I'd support the effort, basically! The translated script is only half the battle of course - I know nothing about how to mod it into the game - but it's still a huge resource.

Have been considering hosting the scripts here on Inyouchuuverse for registered users, maybe teasing the opening scenes to guests and always reminding readers to buy the games for the full experience.

It is officially possible actually not possible to create spoilers that you hover the mouse to view using two pipe characters | on each side of the text, much as Discord does! until I do a lot more work on the parsing system. Never mind.

Progress is being made on converting over to the new theme!

(Yeah, scroll bar is a little ugly at the moment. I'll figure out later what I can do with that.)

Still lots to be done, obviously, but it's starting to take shape as a real Inyouchuu experience now.
Also discovered it may be specifically my phone that sucks with this theme, as Loki's worked just fine. I'll still add a lite option for those users who need it, but it seems I may possibly be able to stick with my box background design after all.

Checking it out again. Very cool.
