I think I'm gonna salvage some of what I've written for new chapters in my fic for a re-written last act of the current chapter to wrap up the story in a standard Inyouchuu bad end (well, "bad" end in the way the OVAs end where the implication is that girls will be demon slaves forever as opposed to the games that make clear the demon breeding only lasts for a little while before they get messily eaten).

To each their own preferences, of course, but I'll have to say I prefer the OVA method!

Just a one-shot now, nothing more complicated than a sword-wielding heroine getting a classic bad end (well that and having a mini plot in the last part about a really tangential Muramasa character because writing Otae was easier than finding different ways to refer to a nameless woman whose main trait is being thicc)

Hey, sometimes just ending it as a one-shot is the best way to go about it. That way you aren't getting bound to that self-imposed responsibility to add more.

(Though, maybe I'd suggest just editing the text and meta info, rather than deleting and re-uploading, if it's still basically the same story? If you delete it, then anybody who has bookmarked it will lose the link.)

I know, but I was worried about messing up something when moving the new version of the story into the old version.

So the next fic I'm trying to brainstorm for is something in a fantasy setting that will in some way be about orcs/a similar race having their way with a new stock of captives, and I'm trying to think of anime or games that would be good fodder for that premise. There's already lots of Warcraft and Genshin smut on AO3, so I want to think of a different franchise than those.

What series come to mind for you guys that have:
A lot of female characters to choose between
A race or several races that could satisfy the requirements of hentai orcs

Queen's Blade, haha...

I don't delve into Rule 34/ecchi too much, but yeah that one definitely comes to mind.

While the next thing I'll end up writing will be some version of what I posted above, I also came up with this other idea to workshop, and that anyone here is free to steal:
An Inyouchuu story where the Black Cat Brigade are recruited by the larger exorcist system in Japan as part of a mass response to a demonic outbreak in a major city. Because of their low rank, they're basically assigned to waiting around until the crisis is over and help with the cleanup. But then contact is lost with the main elite exorcist team, so the Black Cats are ordered to sneak into the center of the disaster to determine what happened to the main team.

I'd love to hear ideas on how this could be fleshed out, and also crossover potential with who the other exorcist teams could be if they weren't just OCs.

One x-over idea I had was with the Mouryou No Nie OVA, following off its bad end where all the girls became seedbeds. Basically they'd have been rescued after months of captivity and be a fellow bottom ranked team alongside the Black Cats, one who Takeru is familiar with since their physical condition is similar if not more extreme than hers.

I'll admit I'm not well versed in Mouryou lore, but I seem to remember those characters are already sort of a monster hunting group, but one with a mix of humans and humanlike monsters who are just sort of assigned to keep the peace. So whether you're going off a bad end or not, I would think those characters would fit well in that context regardless.
