Like I mentioned before, the Etsu light novel might be worth a read because, from my skimming of it for specific details (was Yamato’s mom or dad the oni, and did Azumi the blue haired oni have a connection to Yamato), it looked like there was an actual story that continued even into the parts where all the sex happened.
I can’t say if it reached the canon end per se, but it did reach a point other than “and then the girls were cut stomped by a mid-boss and became seedbeds insectally ever after”

I will definitely check that one when I have time, then.

There needs to be an actual story that ends like that LMAO

@lonesomebro: Were you reading this off lightnoveltranslations.com? I think there's even some novelizations of the later games like Kyou.

Yes, there are two more, one called Gaiden (not sure what it's based off of) and a Kyou one
From what I saw, the Kyou light novel is similar to the Shoku one where it doesn't go as far into the plot as it could since it lands on a Bad End. At least I think that's what's going on since I know nothing about Kyou's plot other than it's the one where the Rinko is introduced, and it's where the spider demon Gyuki is from (the light novel mentions him, but he's only hibernating while being fueled by all the lust power)

Gaiden is also a game (-ish), possibly a DLC. It's set chronologically a bit before Kyou, and sort of sets up the situation that Kyou expands on.

Yeah, they actually released them all individually as little prologues to Kyou. They actually did well and further boosted the hype for Kyou. It was all kind of hailed as a "return to form" with Hayami back, and Inyouchuu had been in slumber for several years after Etsu.
We need that comeback again!

During the second Hayami era of Inyouchuu, the prequels were actually suprisingly important tie-ins. Out of the three Gaiden entries, only one could be properly described as "filler" that being the Sui chapter. Kyou's epilogue story is worked into the inciting incident for Goku, Inyouchuu Rei establishes the feudal theme for Goku, ect; Hayami really liked his worldbuilding!
The etsu light novel sounds easier to analyze in comparison to a whole game, but I'm pretty sure that those, like the doujins and ovas, choose to end on a bad ending, which is a little upsetting. A lot of Lilith adaptations do that too and it gets on my nerves.
