I mean, we all know Takeru's one true love is, obviously, Sora from Kingdom Hearts...

Wait Sui has a kid with Sora in that universe-- yeah everything that catches my eye makes me cringe a little harder.

So the main page of that site says it's a collection of fanon and is, quote, "not necessarily canon to the Taimanin series" which... well, I'm pretty sure that is indeed true! I'm honestly not sure what it's supposed to be or why it exists, but what I'm gathering is that somebody really wanted to imagine their own giant cinematic universe, but didn't feel like creating their own original characters and thus imported them from dozens of different existing media. Which includes a bunch of hentai franchises as well. Absolutely nothing is given actual attribution, even though names, likenesses, and sprites and OVA screencaps are used.

As much as I can understand having an appreciation for these characters, and try to be openminded to how others exercise their creativity... I don't know. Reimagining things in an AU is one thing, but this just feels disrespectful to all the source material.

KH has plenty of fans and some good music, but I gotta be honest, I personally can't look at that series without a weird taste in my mouth. One time I just straight-up referred to it as "pro-Disney propaganda," because of how much it crosses over various Disney properties and feeds on nostalgia. Some would look on that stuff fondly, but I just can't see it that way. After all, Disney is pretty much behind the destruction of fair copyright limits, and built much of their empire on public-domain media but then turned around and fought against giving back. Not to mention their management's resistance to anything LGBT+. They can keep their greedy hands off our demon hunters in my opinion.

Kinda wonder if there's any link between that weird wiki and those crossover fanfics on AO3 that (barely) include Inyouchuu.

And I gave KH1 an earnest shot, but I thought it sucked. The platforming was pretty annoying and the combat didn't feel great. Everyone says you gotta power through it to get to the good one, KH2. But... I'm good. Plenty of other stuff to play.

And I still like Nomura. His belts situation is rightfully funny. But the man gave us Tifa and so many other FF girls I do need in the Inyouchuu caves...
