Yep. Turns out you can actually fit six games in a 5x8 U-haul, though I only have the energy for about four these days!

Got everything set up, luckily only minor issues that were easy to fix. Something always breaks, it's pretty much expected.

There's a Beetlejuice pinball now! Had to check it out while we were around the area.

Lots of stuff, everything from arcade to retrocomputing, and we haven't even been to the vendor hall yet.

I keep forgetting to take pictures, but here's one of another person's homebrew pinball project. A cute little miniature horror game, House of Flesh and Blood.

All right, I gotta share the cosplay experience today. I'm sure you guys are gonna love this!

We counted four people who gave me funny and/or shocked looks. Mostly it was coveredLoki who noticed and pointed out such incidents to me, but I saw one myself too. One guy at the concession area who was in line ahead of us turned to look at me several times with a grin on his face. He HAD to know, I'm sure of it.

Stopped by an area with posters and art that were perhaps on the spicier side. The girl running it said she also had a book of safer art that we also checked out, but I said "Well, spicy doesn't bother me, considering who I'm cosplaying!" She asked what it was, I answered (character and Japanese series name) and her reaction was basically "Ohhhh, haha!" I think she at least recognized the name, so that amused me.

But easily my favorite costume-related interaction happened while entering the game hall today. While we were stopped at a table talking about retro games, this guy comes up to me, and this exchange happens:
G: Hey, I wanna ask, who are you cosplaying as?
E: Uhhh... are you absolutely sure you want to know?
G: Yep.
E: It's, uh, a very adult anime.
G: Cool, let's hear it.
E: Okay. Mikoto Shiratori from Inyouchuu.
G: hands me his phone I gotta know what it is, can you write it in there?
E: writes the series name But really though, it's waaaay off the deep end. Like I mean the tentacles are the TAME part.
G: searches it up anyway, eyes go very wide Okay, that is one bold and brave cosplay! Can I get a photo with you guys?

So yeah, he got a photo of the two of us, then a selfie including himself, and he thanked me before leaving. So it's very possible I just created a new fan!

I am so glad to hear you're having a good time.

I'm glad you maybe created a new acolyte and that the others maybe had an idea of what it was haha. Very fun.

Sounds like a blast overall. That's a cool horror pinball.

Holy crap, guys. I met a fellow Inyouchuu fan, and specifically another pinball homebrewer too!

(Edit: I think I have the wrong person regarding pinball LOL but definitely I did find a fan!)
