Wholesome or probably more than likely nasty, plug any Inyouchuu related writings you worked on or enjoy here!

I've got a few scratch notes worth of several but have only published one so far. It highlights my current darker era lol, fairly brutal and right to the point, it's essentially an English-fied take on one of Mikoto's final ending scenes in Kyou with the spiderdemon Gyuki.

After the glory that was JAST released Shin Inyouchuu and seeing that all uncensored, this remains one of my dream scenes to see uncensored next someday... one of my top favorite Mikoto scenes!

I have all these other ideas and used to RP in other places throughout the years for some experience. My problem is finishing these things though. Always feels great to have a finished product though. I have one cooking up with Mikoto and Takeru, which makes me want to do other duos with Ouka and Kikuka, Rinko and Sui, but who knows haha.

Oh, I guarantee your Chunky Yogurt Tar is going to become a running gag around here for sure!

I'm thinking this thread is good for "look what fanfic I found" or stuff you've previously written, and then when we create new content, we might optionally choose to make a new thread for it if it's a big enough project perhaps?

Anyhow, since you've brought your AO3 creation into the spotlight, I might as well do the same. While your fic is arguably the proper Inyouchuu experience with a full level of graphic, my own recent contribution is considerably tamer - to the point that the H scenes are mainly left to the reader's imagination. That said, while it does lack extreme content, and takes some creative liberties with canon for the sake of convenience and storytelling, "Demon Hunting Takes Balls of Steel" is indeed a full story route on its own.

The plot? After barely escaping the events of Inyouchuu The Animation, Mikoto and friends took on an exorcism job at a failing pub that ultimately couldn't pay their bill. The panicking owner offers them a dusty old pinball machine sitting in the cellar as collateral, and Black Cat Agency grudgingly accepts it. Upon arriving back at headquarters, the hunters quickly discover it is broken in multiple ways, and spend several days juggling more exorcism jobs and coping with tentacle trauma alongside learning how to fix the game. Meanwhile, Nightmare - who was temporarily defeated during their escape, but not killed - plots his revenge.

The story is standalone enough that anyone can pick it up without prior TinkerBell knowledge, with all the necessary details filled in as you go along. I've shared it with multiple people I know, both online and otherwise, and even the ones who aren't Inyouchuu fans enjoyed it. It also explores a bit of Takeru x Sui romance, something I don't see much of in official media.

I like that idea. We can make separate threads to give future works and feedback more attention if need be. Maybe I should even do that with my Spiderdemon one if there's more feedback for it here.

Anyone who wants a wholesome Inyouchuu tale, definitely give Ellie's "Demon Hunting Takes Balls of Steel" a read haha. That was a great one. Needs to be a subplot in Hanamaru 2. lol

The Takeru x Sui slant was a fun idea. Due to the series' main plot, some of us know why Takeru deals with sexual impulses and she's got the hottest sister in the world that takes a lot of that focus, but I bet Takeru could have fun with other girls too in some alternate ideas.

Your recommendation is highly appreciated! A few chapters get heavy on the "bumbling through realistic tech repair" which might lose a few people, but I tried to keep it as entertaining and in-character as I could, all the same.

Two things!

First of all, this is becoming well known among the AO3 community, but I thought I'd share it here. In the last few weeks AO3 has had a number of spambots running around leaving hate comments. If you get one of these on a story of yours, just hit the button to report spam, and move on. One person I was talking to suggested the bots are either (a) training some sort of AI and using your response as training data, or (b) copying the text of authors' works and then trying to harass them into deleting the work so they can then upload it under their own creator's name.

I've gotten two types. One was a condescending message with "lots" of sarcastic "quotation marks," claiming the "commenter" had doxxed me to my "employer" and hoped I was really "proud" of my "bold" writing choices. No such thing had actually happened, of course. Though, frankly, if my bosses actually told me they found Demon Hunting Takes Balls of Steel, and plausible deniability was no longer an option, I'd just tell them to read it, given it's some of my best writing!

The other version was basically different variations on this formula. "I loved your writing and characterization, but I'm super bothered by the fact that you didn't include [insert marginalized group] characters in it. I've added your name to a list of [highly negative ideology or organization], and I won't take it off until you include a character like that."

The funniest part? One of these spammers told me I was being fatphobic for not including any heavier characters... on a story that specifically mentions Sui's self-image issues and even has Mikoto say that maybe she should "lay off the croquettes a bit." The bots, of course, don't actually read the story. Like I said, report and move on - AO3 will even delete the comment for you automatically when you do.

Anyway, with all that being said, DHTBoS was not the only Inyouchuu fanfic I wrote. It was preceded by A Black Cat in Faraway Town, and while there's very, very little overlap between Inyouchuu fans and OMORI fans... somebody had to bridge the gap.

That being said, it was a rickety bridge. I had an idea and went for it, but I didn't know a ton of lore at the time and missed a ton of opportunities I could've explored. I was also very nervous about going too dark with it - OMORI was historically notorious for fans dogpiling hate on creators who dared acknowledge that Aubrey is kinda hot (you know, because "she's underage!!!!1!") - so the flesh-cave scene doesn't even get to the point of tentacle penetration.

Even so, a few people genuinely did enjoy reading it. Honestly, I have a few notes written down on how I could redo this idea way better. Just a matter of when I might have the time and motivation.

Maybe my story is too effed up for the bots? XD. Haven't seen anything weird yet.

Haha, that's entirely possible!

Bots are like "oh geez, what's the point, this guy's too far off the deep end!"

Okay, so I completely forgot about this, but a while back I posted this dumb little sketch/skit on the JAST server and I should definitely archive it over here too.

Quick back story here. Back in high school, I had a group of friends and acquaintances that I would do goofy sketch-comedy videos with. Oftentimes we would write a short script parodying some TV show or movie we recently enjoyed, usually featuring a comedic twist and almost always butchering the characters' names into something goofy. Mine in particular tended to take a lot of inspiration from the movie satire comics published in old MAD Magazine issues.

Anyway, much more recently, I was reminded of those days when chatting with my mom late last year. And I had the stupid idea to go back and write a period-correct and audience-correct parody of Inyouchuu. I can still vividly imagine what it would actually be like to perform this, with the people named in it and their voices and personalities coming through. I'm 99% sure that could never actually happen though LOL

Apparently it works to just upload PDFs here and view them in the browser, so I attached the whole thing below. If that doesn't work or if anyone prefers not to click on this weirdo's document files, I'll post the whole thing in a quote block as well.
