This installment is a full remake of the original game. There's naturally a few changes, but it is an amazing jumping on point for those who want to get deeper into the series beyond some of the subbed OVA's. To this day, it's still the finale of what I dub the "second generation" of Inyouchuu in the 2010's, with returning creator Hayami Yuujirou, doing the 4th game Kyou, 5th Goku, and Shin/Remake is technically the 6th. Aojiru's art had leveled up a lot by then and the content is pretty extreme compared to the earlier stuff, though the original classic Shoku still holds up very well in that way too! (come on VNDB, Hayami's page needs more updating. He definitely directed the Gaiden's, Kyou, and Goku too).

I'm not even sure if these can be found anywhere online to order now. Maybe they're part of my Inyouchuu artifacts now. 

The original Inyouchuu Shoku was one licensed by some German company called Trimax. And while uncensored, butchered isn't even the right word for it with all the dithering, artifacting, and horrendous job they did on the video quality. No clue what happened there or MS Pictures just didn't give them the masters or what. The Ouka/Kikuka bonus was not included. It's out there on the web and worth seeing, but I still tend to watch some 720p versions that I put out with my subs instead. Censored, but better picture quality at least...

I'm shocked the original animation still never got picked up. Even though Kitty Media licensed Ikusa Otome Valkyrie, AKA Ride of the Valkyrie, which was also made in an early Himagin/Amour era like Inyouchuu the Animation.
