It's like they combined every possible bad choice into one (and, as always, pretend it's somehow protecting kids instead of being worldwide control freaks).

I'm noticing more servers/people leaving in these last few days. Some are migrating to root (i have an account there too) while others are moving to matrix. There are likely more, but those are the names I've seen the most.

Fluxer is another good alternative I'm hearing about now... jotting it down here for potential future reference. lol

That said, I'd argue these programs killed ol' classic forums. I'll always hold it against them. Tongue

Does JAST really not have any other means for communication?

To me that's entirely fair. There is something classic and charming about forums, as well as the fact that they're almost automatically a searchable archive of community past. Whereas real-time chat programs like Discord are convenient in the moment but are horrible for longevity of information. I noticed that you show up here a lot more often than I used to see you on Discord, and I'm incredibly happy to be hosting a comfortable platform!

You know, that's a good question about JAST. It was hard enough to find their Discord server in the first place, at least for me, now it looks like they have no community links at all on their site? I posted Inyouchuuverse in a couple places on their server but I'm not sure if anyone else bothered to follow the link other than my treasured regulars who have already joined us here. It'd be freaking amazing if more of them (or even somebody from JAST itself) were to come be a part of Inyouchuu Funhouse 2.0, but I'm not really hearing about much activity anywhere to be honest.

I see we've had a couple new members otherwise. Always nice to see new faces, hoping they'll stop in at the intro thread sometime and say hi.

I've jump on Discord a few times and am almost shocked to see you not on now haha... but yeah I prefer forums or something that's easier to come and go with.

Yeah I agree on JAST, it was tricky for me to find their Discord and all too. Would probably do these niche' English hentai companies better if communication and their communities were easier to access.

I linked the forum on my X now and it got some attention, but I'm not sure if anyone actually joined up. Not sure if there's confusion about it being both a forum and wiki or what lol, but I thought I was clear.

Haha, honestly I have Discord on my phone and am usually available regardless of "online" status. Feel free to chat any time you feel like it (or I'll take suggestions for another instant messaging platform too).

Hey, we do have a general hentai section, and I'd be more than happy to welcome discussion on more games from more people. I guess we never know where this whole project will go.

Soooo, to anyone still wondering why Discord went quiet about age verification... most likely it's because of a brand-new, worldwide push for forced age verification ON DEVICES, baked into operating systems, and broadcasting that information to any web site that requests it. And of course, almost everyone who casually looks at the idea thinks it's great, because yay it'll protect the children and anyone against this is clearly a pedo... (Note: This sentence is a hypothetical projection that is not endorsed by the staff of Inyouchuuverse.)

Except, if you are actually in touch with reality, you'd know that A: there is no reason a determined-enough child couldn't just use an account already set up by an adult, and B: publicly verifying every user's age effectively means any predator knows with relative certainty what users are vulnerable kids! This is, of course, mixed with plenty of reasonable concerns about how this data is being managed and stored, what happens if a data breach occurs, and the fact that computer code (including operating systems) is supposed to be considered protected speech, which you normally cannot be legally forced to create. On the individual level, it's pretty much logically unenforceable, though there's nothing stopping major web platforms from denying service to devices that won't dox the user to them. Clearly the only way to protect kids is to dox their personal information... /s

A number of states are pushing forward with this plan - including, as I found out today, my own - with a federal law in the works and several other countries already trying to roll out their own equivalents. And the support is bipartisan, meaning it's not an argument of "Well, that's just another evil thing that $[POLITICAL_PARTY_I_DONT_LIKE] is forcing on us!" but rather almost certainly motivated by money. Considering who could actually benefit from these requirements (and by benefit, I mean in ways so exaggeratedly evil that one could mistake them for comic book villains), I could certainly venture a guess what sort of people are putting money towards it. One can only imagine what a peaceful and prosperous society we would have if those repulsive individuals had turned to clean, harmless insect hentai for their sexual urges instead of building an empire on harming IRL children.

Yeah I saw the UK and Australia like always are rolling this out on phones or already have. Ugh, this is so terrible.

Where did you research what states are heading this way?
