Anyway, dreams! I had thought about making a thread like this, then EchelonV suggested it in the chat and I figured why not. You can post whatever you want here, though I'll probably stick with TinkerBell-adjacent stuff for my own. So here's a few that have been through my head.

• A few months ago, my slumbering subconscious decided the night's adventure would be made much better by pulling Ouka Tsukishiro into the real world. So I... met her, I guess? Nothing sexual at all, she was just kinda there.

• Kowaku no Toki has been mentioned in at least three separate dreams, by name, since late last year. I get the feeling that my mind is trying to force me to play it. To which I say, be freakin patient, I still have to play all the rest of the actual Inyouchuu games first.

• Not long ago, I had a dream in which a very triggered Discord user was ranting about how disturbing and unacceptable Inyouchuu is, and citing a picture of Kikuka on someone's profile as a reason not to interact with them. Except they mentioned her by her full name (though they mangled "Tsukishiro") which implies they were maybe a bit more familiar than they wanted to publicly admit!

I'm just waiting for something with Mikoto in it, because that's going to be a glorious night. Now, that being said... I do get to be jealous of my partner, our Official Server Goblin, for having a proper full-episode-length dream set in Shunjuu Academy. Shared here with permission, but I'm definitely going to make them post here if any more Aojiruverse dreams come up.

So, in @coveredLoki's dream, they were directly participating in the Black Cats' demon investigation in the Shunjuu pool room. Possibly accompanied Sui when she changed into her swimsuit in the locker room, but (surprise surprise) tentacle demons showed up and tried to assert their dominance. Sui managed to escape, though, and fled back to the pool.
Sui's spirit sense picked up a presence in the pool itself, but she insisted she was still willing to get in and do the job assigned to her. The Goblin as well as both Mikoto and Yamato tried to reason with her, but she was determined to see it through. So she got into the pool. And then the purple tentacles showed up.
I'll admit I don't remember if my goblin told me how the dream ended, but I'm pretty sure it was a very... shall we say, full-filling experience for poor Sui.

Among the VN community, a growing concern is now the future fate of his web site - which, with no one to maintain it or renew its hosting contract, could go down at any time. There is a Reddit thread all about the efforts to preserve it:

I will most assuredly be downloading and digging through the released archives ASAP. Just so happens that we have a wiki here (even if it's developing very slowly) that would be happy to assimilate VNDB's info on Aojiru games.

That said, I figure if we have threads on everything from H recommendations to mainstream anime to cooking, I might as well make one to share this too. Now, admittedly, pinball is not a very share-able experience on an online community, considering how rare it is to see games in public these days. But I like to think it might still be interesting for some of you to see some behind-the-scenes and maybe share what experiences you've had.

And so - given the topics we all know and love on this forum - I'm going to start things off with these photos of a game I ran into at a convention last year. This is "Transporter: The Rescue," a relatively rare 1989 title created by Bally/Midway during a transitional period when they were being bought out by Williams Electronics. It runs on the beloved System 11 hardware/software platform....

This is a thread for anime in general. I'm a huge fanboy and always going in on the new season. Right now I've been enjoying Sentenced to Be a Hero, Opposites Attract, Blue Mibuiro, and the glorious return of the Ronin Warriors with the new Samurai Troopers anime. With the admin's permission I am opening a thread for video games. Right I'm slowly but steadily making it through Super Robot Wars Y. I'm also 200 hours in and nowhere near the end because they keep adding really sweet DLC. 

I'm currently waiting on Danganronpa 2X2 to get a release date. I don't follow that many other releases as I'm super busy. 

Though I do love beat'em ups and other co-op games. I have Marvel Cosmic, Shredder's Revenge, the Rifftrax game, Nintendo Switch Online, and Mario Kart 8 if we ever want to do some group gaming.

• Please be patient as I work to implement new features and set up a fully-functioning environment. Requests are always welcome, just be aware they may take a while.

• User rights are a bit locked down - you need at least the bare minimum of Inyouchuu knowledge to pass the registration form, and wiki editing is limited to the Archivist group that I can grant you access to upon request. This is because I would rather not blindly entrust site content submission to the general public with all its spammers and vandals. I want you all to feel welcome, but I also want you to feel safe here.

• Many fans would rather not be publicly known for liking TinkerBell games, given the outside world's tendency to vilify others for the stories they like behind closed doors. Please respect our users' privacy and do not call attention to their activity in other communities unless they've already revealed their connections or given permission.

• Most Inyouchuu fans are men, but not all of us are. Please direct any horniness upon the girls of Aojiru's universe and not towards your fellow community members. We're also not all necessarily straight or cis here - in fact, Inyouchuuverse.net itself is owned and managed by a trans woman. Please respect the identities that our members present.

• The series has a long, long list of fetishes, and this forum is meant to be a safe place to chat about them without judgment. But, by the same token, not all fans like 100% of the content associated with this series - with many considering the recent games to be going too far - and that viewpoint is perfectly okay, too, as long as you are not attacking others for the content they like. • Do NOT fetishize, objectify, or exploit any unwilling real-world person, particularly minors. This crosses the line into real-life harm, both to the individual in question and to the adult anime community at large. And doing this to a minor will get you permanently banned from this platform.

• Do not engage in this community if you yourself are a minor. There are far healthier ways to discover and understand your own sexuality.

• Do not apply fictitious logic and fetishes to the real world if they would be harmful in that context. For instance, real-life age of consent laws exist for a good reason, giant larva should go nowhere near one's intimate regions, and there is no biological basis for the concept of virginity. But it is perfectly acceptable in this community to say that Sui losing her virginity in high school to become a demon bug seedbed is hot, because fiction is not reality!

I figure an introduction thread is in order. We'd love to hear your TinkerBell fan origin stories, and really anything that might be relevant to our chatting around here. If you have anything you'd like to contribute to the wiki, make sure you've signed into it - same credentials as here on the forum - and let me know in this thread or in a private message that you'd like editing rights on there.

It may surprise a few of you to learn that I didn't properly experience hentai until I was 20 years old. Shocking, really, considering that I independently thought up the concept of tentacle violation sometime in my early teen years without even knowing it was a thing. And I'm pretty sure that was one of the many private fantasies that starred my high school crush back in the day, who coincidentally bore a striking resemblance to Yukino Hongou from Kowaku no Toki minus the purple-tinted hair.

I am 99% sure that the first proper hentai clip I ever saw was the tentacle scene from episode 2 of Mahou Shoujo Meruru. This was almost certainly followed, within a few weeks, by one scene or another from Inyouchuu The Animation, something I ran into every now and then for the next few years without seeing it as anything special other than being really hot. From what I recall, the name Inyouchuu didn't truly stick in my head until sometime around 2019, when I started to take a bit more notice of the origins of things I'd found. Gradually, I began to realize the series had a lot more interesting lore than I'd previously thought.

Fast forward to early 2024, when I finally came to terms with a lifechanging revelation: I didn't crave having a girl like Mikoto. I wanted to be one. The fact that I didn't understand what was wrong for nearly ten years of being a teenager on what felt like someone else's character profile, and then spent over ten more years consciously wishing I'd been born female, is an absolute embarrassment to my own self-awareness. Anyway, the hormonal treatment that would bring me closer to my ideal form also came with a side effect that worried me: it represses most of one's libido. Was this going to kill my interest in hentai?

The answer, as it turned out, was no. True, I have far, far less drive to seek it out now, but I'm still capable of feeling "in the mood" - it's just a mood I have to put myself into intentionally now, rather than it being a random thing that clouds my judgment. I control my libido now - it doesn't control me.

If anything, my unusual "not horny 99% of the time" attitude means I look at Inyouchuu through a very different lens than most fans. The lore fascinates me, some H-scenes feel more like a fictional science documentary, and character interactions leave me craving more wacky slice-of-life. Heck, it even prompted me to branch out my fanfiction production line.

In December of 2024, JAST USA - the distributor that released an English-localized version of Shin'yaku In'youchuu two years prior - put the game on a 30% off sale, alerted to me when I happened to wander onto EchelonV's Twitter profile. (I have since deleted my account, due to many many things that X/Twitter/Musk have done that I cannot support.) It was then that I decided I needed to buy it. I didn't even necessarily plan on playing it, given I was already aware the games were much more graphic than the OVAs that I always enjoyed. But I still wanted to support the creators that made it all happen.

But then I joined their community on Discord, chatted about it with others, became friends with EchelonV, and finally caved. No pun intended. I had to experience the game myself - and, equipped with screen and face recording to document my experiences, set out on a quest for the Good End, absorbing all the game's lore in the process.

And then I read a line of Takeru's internal monologue at the end of her route, and broke down into tears as I fell in love with this series all over again. (SPOILER WARNING in the next couple paragraphs)

Takeru grew up with a relatively masculine name, doesn't entirely conform to one gender or another, and doesn't like people making things unnecessarily personal. She endures body horror that deprives her of opportunities that women should (if they so choose) be rightfully entitled to. And once it all comes to pass, she's stuck with giving herself lifelong treatments under the threat of otherwise becoming something that disgusts her.

Takeru isn't a transgender woman, but her story absolutely nailed how I felt inside IRL, and it hit me hard. And that level of introspection finally unraveled all the other reasons why I had always connected with Inyouchuu so deeply:

• Depending on audience, the tentacle genre is either a power fantasy or a submission fantasy, and while I kinda switched sides on that, it's a powerful image regardless.
  
• The high school girl aesthetic appeals to a sense of deprivation from ever living as one myself, something I knew subconsciously for much longer than I outwardly understood. I've since learned that the Tsukishiro twins felt the same way and eventually chose to relive the high school life they never had.
  
• The fact that the adult content mostly involves monsters instead of human men allowed me to indulge in a fantasy that didn't force myself into the avatar of a man, even before "boy, I wish I was her" ever went through my head.
  
• And the recurring themes of body horror and loss of autonomy of female characters embodied the struggles of my own identity inside.
  

Inyouchuu might be one of the most unhinged entertainment franchises around, but like every story I've deeply connected with, I think my life is better off for having discovered it. I also became one of the only people in the world to have cosplayed Mikoto, with the other being - if I'm assuming correctly - her actual voice actress.

Fast forward again to recently, and Discord's age-verification policies in 2026 (forced ID submission) are threatening to tear apart NSFW communities within it - and until this point, the only active English-speaking Inyouchuu community that I am aware of was on Discord. Lost media has always upset me, especially the thought of losing even more history and information about the hentai series that (oddly) comforted me more than any other.

And so, I dusted off my limited web administration experience, threw together instances of a forum and wiki, and here we stand today. I don't know how active we'll get around here, but with any luck, the fall of adult spaces on Discord will remind the world to appreciate private community forums.
