Hi there, 

This is a thread for anime in general. I'm a huge fanboy and always going in on the new season. Right now I've been enjoying Sentenced to Be a Hero, Opposites Attract, Blue Mibuiro, and the glorious return of the Ronin Warriors with the new Samurai Troopers anime. You guys enjoying anything right now?

I don't know that one very well, neat.

I just finished "This Monster Wants to Eat Me" which ended up being surprisingly cute and wholesome in the end.
Others I've enjoyed have included Reincarnated as a Slime, Spy x Family, Bocchi the Rock!, Onii-chan wa Oshimai, and Gushing Over Magical Girls.

Side note: What does GeneralOpposite mean?

It means I made typo. Great choices there, Monster Wants to Eat Me really surprised me with how immersed I was by the end. I was not expecting Gushing, but it's welcome. I did really enjoy that one.

There was an awesome Gushing fanfic called "The Adventures of Magia Violet" that I read a while back and found highly entertaining.

I watched pretty much everything from the 70's (super robo or Dezaki shows), to current, like say Spy x Family, Jobless Reincarnation, etc. I'm not really feeling the modern shounens though. But I'm reluctantly still keeping up with One Piece here and there haha. That thing needs to end someday.

I like 80's mecha, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Votoms, some sports anime like Ippo, etc the best.

I am excited to get back to Kingdom. That's been a fun new one for me that's different.

Nice, I highly recommend the OG LOGH. I think it's better... but I do want to get back to the remake's later seasons and can maybe appreciate it on its own.

Indeed, I saw the new Votoms will have Oshii involved. That's a crazy matchup! Although I'm a Ryosuke Takahashi fanboy and don't think he's involved, so I'm a little skeptical. But it's wild to see a new Votoms project in 2026. Hopefully it's great!
